jennifer morin provided an answer to this question in this review of Xerox:Xerox was founded in 1906 in Rochester, NY and was first named The Haloid Photographic Company. In 1958 they changed their name to Haloid Xerox. In 1961 the company changed its name to Xerox Corporation. Their current headquarters is located in Norwalk, CT. They offer customer service through email and telephone. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 5am to 5pm PT. more

One customer said, "I purchased this printer in January 2008 to replace a 9 year old HP color laser jet 4500. I liked the idea of not having large ink cartridges to store. The ink is easy to replace but is expensive and doesn't give the yield I think it should. The finished print is hard to write on - waxy finish.". On the BBB rating scale of A+ to F, the BBB has given Xerox (aka Xerox Corporation) a rating of A+. They have had 31 complaints in the past 3 years and 13 complaints in the past 12 months. All of the complaints are closed. Most of the complaints are regarding problems with the products or services. more

When comparing Xerox to other companies that sell the same kinds of merchandise, I found that some companies were more expensive than Xerox, some companies were less expensive than Xerox, and some other companies were priced about the same as Xerox for the same kinds of products. more

All returns must have an RMA (Return Authorization Number) that the customer can get from customer service. Products must be shipped within 5 days of receiving the RMA number.
